For the development of our Berlin Team we are hiring:

Control Systems Engineer (m/f), Aerospace


As specialist for Control Systems you work on challenging aerospace projects. Your tasks include the design of System Solutions and Control System Functions for Aero-Engines and the development of system- and software solutions. You develop specifications for controls software, carry out analyses and trade studies and prepare certifications documents. You apply systems modelling and simulation and analyse test data. You utilise tools for requirements and document management and modell with UML, SysML or Matlab/Simulink. You work in the Team at a+i as well as in very close coopearation with our customer. You conduct the development from design to specification, presentation and final acceptance.

Your Profile

• several years of experience in Aerospace Engineering
• experience in Controls or Systems Engineering, Real Time Systems, Embedded Systems
• experience in software development, UML, SysML
• good skills in Matlab/Simulink
• skills in MS-Officee
• German language proficiency preferred
• Aero-Engine background preferred

Als Ingenieur (m/w) für Simulation und Systementwicklung arbeiten Sie bei uns in verschiedenen anspruchsvollen Projekten in der Luftfahrt und im Automobilbau. Zu Ihren Tätigkeiten im Umfeld der modellbasierten Entwicklung gehören die Durchführung von Analysen und Entwicklungsstudien, die Entwicklung von Simulationsmodellen und -systemen sowie von Werkzeugen zum automatisierten Konfigurieren, Verwalten und Testen von Modellen. Dazu setzen Sie vorwiegend Matlab/Simulink ein, arbeiten aber auch an Schnittstellen zu anderen Systemen und Sprachen. Ihre Entwicklungen konzipieren und dokumentieren Sie vorwiegend mit Hilfe von UML und SysML. Im Rahmen größerer Entwicklungsprojekte setzen Sie auch Anforderungs-Managementsysteme (DOORS) ein.

Ihr Profil

• Ingenieur oder technisch - mathematisches Studium mit sehr gutem Abschluss
• Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung, UML, SysML
• sehr gute Kenntnisse von Matlab/Simulink

System-Modelling and Simulation Engineer (f/m)

As engineer (f/m) for System-Modelling and Simulation you work on challenging aerospace projects. In cooperation with the development teams of our customer you develop simulation models of aerospace engine components, integrate models into whole system models or adapt models to specific simulation needs. Furthermore you perform simulations and system trade studies to support the development teams of our customer. The development will mainly be realised in Matlab/Simulink, but interfacing to other simulation systems and software languages will be required. You will plan and document the developments by using office software, UML und SysML.

Your Profile

• university degree in engineering or a comparable technical-mathematical studies
• experience in software development, UML, SysML
• good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
• knowledge of C/C++, Python
• good knowledge of MS-Office
• motivated to learn German
• used to worked independently and methodically
